Qualifications

• 10+ years in production system design or manufacturing engineering.
• Demonstrated capacity or rate modeling experience.
• Comfort with simulation or quantitative modeling tools.
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan plant layouts, capacity, and line sequencing for a new maritime factory.
• Develop capacity plans and rate models with sensitivity analysis.
• Sequence operations and define stations, parallel runs, and timings.
• Create and validate discrete-event simulations of the factory.
• Design production system integrating design, supply base, and facilities.
• Feed the precedence network used by the scheduling system (LOKI).
• Provide technical direction on production system design with vendors.
• Review architecture/engineering deliverables and assess results.
