Qualifications

• Operations research background or degree with quantitative focus.
• Production-quality Python/SQL or similar skills.
• Digital native; API usage and code-first mindset.
• Experience with simulation (DES, Monte Carlo, ABM).
• Translate scheduling logic into automated, maintainable systems.
• Self-directed with strong problem-solving instincts.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Fully automate large parts of the industrial engineering role.
• Design, build, and maintain automation for full schedule management.
• Implement and maintain one integrated master schedule for the Protofactory.
• Build automated workflows linking tickets, M&E deliveries, production starts, charts, and reporting.
• Develop advanced simulation models to test schedule scenarios and bottlenecks.
• Create data pipelines and dashboards for real-time schedule visibility.
• Collaborate with the Protofactory Master Scheduler to translate logic into systems.
• Apply operations research methods to production planning problems.
• Leverage AI/ML tools to accelerate automation development.
