Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Planner for Maritime Production to bridge engineering design, supply chain, and shop-floor execution. You will define operational sequences, create detailed manufacturing plans, and ensure clear work instructions that meet NAVSEA-like standards.

You will drive MES routings, BOM integrity, and production schedules while collaborating across Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support ramp-up and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing planning within hardware environments.
• Experience in NPI and transitioning designs to high-rate production.
• Proficient in MBOMs, routings, and EBOM/MBOM translation.
• Hands-on MES and PDM software experience.
• Ability to read complex drawings and specs accurately.
• Able to manage timelines, resources, and budgets under pressure.
• U.S. Person with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct creation and maintenance of comprehensive manufacturing plans.
• Translate 2D/3D drawings into clear work instructions and routings.
• Oversee MBOM and as-built configuration management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain on sequencing.
• Coordinate engineering changes affecting MES routings and schedules.
• Interface between Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to align goals.
• Contribute to DFX input to optimize cost, quality, and scalability.
• Provide floor support during NPI, prototyping, and ramp-ups.
