Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Equipment Engineer, Maritime, to design and develop next-generation equipment and tooling for the maritime production line. You will craft layouts, digital twins, and production system models to drive efficient, rapid start-up of new facilities and ensure lean manufacturing throughout the program.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, collaboration across functions, and the ability to work near operations to optimize the production system.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing tools, tooling and equipment for manufacturing technology development.
• Experience implementing facilities and tooling for large-scale manufacturing.
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment beside operations and manufacturing engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Design and create factory layouts and tooling for next-generation production systems.
• Validate designs to ensure cost- and schedule-effective solutions.
• Support construction, commissioning and start-up of new production facilities.
• Provide guidance on manufacturing processes and materials flow.
• Lead by example and accelerate project completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver production system designs.
