Job summary

Overwatch Imaging in Hood River, OR seeks a Maritime Product Owner to lead the maritime vertical of our ASO software and sensor platforms. You will bring deep maritime ISR expertise to shape what we build and why, partnering with the central PM to feed validated problems and crisp requirements grounded in real operations.

You will own discovery with DoD and coast guard customers, manage a prioritized backlog, and champion edge AI across product and processes, collaborating with Engineering,

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating, leading, or supporting airborne maritime ISR missions.
• Hands-on EO/IR camera/gimbal systems on maritime platforms.
• Background with military, government, or defense contractors supporting maritime ISR.
• Strong written communication and comfort operating with ambiguity.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and daily use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Be the team’s in-house maritime subject matter expert on maritime ISR missions, customers, platforms and sensors.
• Own maritime customer & mission discovery through DoD and coast guard engagements.
• Shape maritime strategy and roadmap in partnership with the VP of Product.
• Write clear requirements and hand off problems to the central PM for sprint planning, staying involved through delivery.
