Job summary

Holland America Line is seeking a Manager, Maritime HR and Operations to lead talent management, promotion eligibility, and performance reviews for Deck and Technical seafarers. You will collaborate with Marine Operations, Fleet Training, and Talent Acquisition to ensure a unified career journey.

You will own workforce reporting, PDR cycles, and maintenance of job descriptions and career paths, supporting operational leadership with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, maritime studies or related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of talent and performance management processes.
• Advanced Excel with data reporting; Power BI or similar tools.
• Ability to interpret CBAs, policies and maritime regulation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent management and promotion across HAL and SBN.
• Own performance appraisal cycles and PDRs for D&T seafarers.
• Develop standard workforce reporting and dashboards.
• Maintain D&T job descriptions, career paths and org charts.
