Quartermaster seeks a Senior Fleet Reliability Engineer to own health and uptime of deployed SmartMast hardware. You will analyze telemetry, drive RCA, and coordinate with hardware, firmware, and field teams to prevent recurring failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Reliability, or related engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with deployed electro-mechanical hardware.
• Proven ownership of hardware reliability outcomes for a fleet or installed base.
• Hands-on root-cause analysis with 8D, 5-Whys, or fishbone.
• Experience diagnosing electro-mechanical systems using telemetry, logs, and teardown.
• Data fluency with SQL and Python to analyze fleet telemetry.
• Willingness to travel to field sites, including international travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet-wide reliability metrics and report to engineering and leadership.
• Build dashboards, alerting, and telemetry pipelines to surface degrading units.
• Define healthy thresholds and proactive intervention criteria.
• Lead RCA on field failures and drive CAPA to closure.
• Maintain the fleet failure database and drive reliability growth tracking.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and field-service teams for improvements.
