Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Offshore Recovery team, designing, integrating, testing, and operating electrical systems on the recovery barge for the Terran R program. This role involves hands-on support through sea trials, certification, and offshore missions.

You will collaborate with engineering, marine, and operations teams to troubleshoot, improve system performance, and ensure readiness for critical offshore operations, with travel averaging at least 25%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher required.
• Foundational understanding of electrical engineering principles applicable to hardware.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support design, integration, testing, and operation of electrical systems aboard the recovery barge.
• Provide engineering support for electrical systems, including PLCs, networking, and RF telemetry.
• Assist offshore recovery operations by verifying electrical system functionality and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering, marine, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance.
• Incorporate lessons learned into future designs and recovery systems.
