HMM in Farmers Branch, TX, is hiring a Maritime Outbound Documentation Coordinator. This full‑time role manages export cargo manifests, ensures documents match sailing details, and releases documents to shippers and forwarders on schedule.

You will handle inquiries by phone, email, and live chat, coordinate with overseas offices, and support changes of destination after vessel sailing while maintaining HMM's standards of accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Export cargo manifest accuracy and completeness
• Documentation accuracy aligned with sailing details
• Ability to communicate with shippers, forwarders, and internal/external offices
• Experience handling COD including ROB & Return/Ship-Back
• General understanding of container business and terminal activity

Responsibilities

• Send final copy of B/L upon vessel sailing and release
• Print and release documents to shippers/forwarders via online or courier
• Handle COD including ROB & Return/Ship-Back
• Pre-Filing Manifest submission for cargo sailing out of Canada, CAMS and AFR
• Inter-department communications via verbal and written
• Guide Bond Usage and Close out In-Bond shipment after vessel sailing
• Use e-Service for Web B/L customer support
• Send B/L papers upon request
• Approve Internet Original B/L registration
