Job summary

HMM America Shipping Agency in Farmers Branch, TX, is seeking a customer service-focused team member for import shipments. You’ll answer general emails/phone calls and assist with problem resolution at terminals, rails, and exam sites.

You will coordinate with internal teams to provide accurate responses and ensure smooth cargo delivery, using multiple systems. This role rewards accuracy, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• General understanding of the transportation shipping industry.
• Ability to work under limited supervision and prioritize workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and resolve customer issues.
• Troubleshoot holds/issues at terminals and rail facilities.
• Reply to emails or direct to the correct PIC to resolve requests.
• Process Proof of Delivery requests.
• Coordinate with LGL Truck & Rail for container movements.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for GO cargo release.
