Job summary

Integer Technologies seeks an Autonomous Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy autonomy software for maritime robotic platforms. The role spans perception, localization, mapping, planning and control, emphasizing robust algorithms for constrained real-world operation.

Ideal candidates will have robotics, state estimation, controls, or related experience, strong software development skills, and an interest in multidisciplinary challenges. A DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics software development and state estimation is preferred.
• Ability to work across perception, localization, mapping, planning, and control.
• Strong programming in Python and C++ with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate autonomy algorithms for perception, estimation, planning, and control across simulated and real robotic platforms.
• Build and validate models, run simulations, and perform hardware-in-the-loop testing to assess performance.
• Collaborate with academic partners to translate research into program deliverables.
• Analyze experimental data, compare with models, and improve algorithms based on results.
• Prepare technical reports, interfaces, and design documentation and contribute to papers.
