Amentum is seeking an experienced MWO Aircraft Mechanic II to perform maintenance on military tactical aircraft, including inspection, repair and modification of aircraft structures and components. The role requires evaluating malfunctions using manuals, leading teams on complex tasks when needed, and ensuring compliance with safety and aviation standards; travel up to 2% may be required.

Requires FAA/DoD credentials, English communication, and tool ownership; the position calls for prioritizing

Formación

• Valid up-to-date A&P license and 2 years aviation maintenance experience.
• 3 years rotary wing aircraft experience and 2 years supporting MWO mod installations.
• All experience within the five most recent years.
• Must obtain facility credentials; US Citizenship required.
• Own tools; tools shadowed and etched with PID.
• Travel up to 2% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspects and services aircraft; performs limited maintenance checks and test flights as required.
• Uses technical manuals and logs; may lead teams on complex tasks.
• Operates tools and ground support equipment; adheres to safety standards.
