American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Specialized Travel Consultant operating from home to service marine and corporate clients in the United States. You’ll advise on travel, book complex itineraries, and ensure adherence to company policies while using Amadeus GDS and delivering high-touch service.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, exceptional communication, and strong teamwork in a 24/7 traveler care environment with flexible benefits and weekend rotation

Qualifications

• Experience in travel required, marine travel preferred.
• Strong client service focus and proactive needs anticipation.
• Native Amadeus GDS expertise and fare/ticketing knowledge.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and data privacy.
• Industry knowledge across travel, business or leisure sectors.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and independently.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for marine and corporate customers.
• Book domestic and international business travel (air, rail, hotel).
• Utilize Amadeus GDS to complete bookings.
• Communicate with customers via phone, chat, email, and systems.
• Act as trusted advisor, offering additional services per policy.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and KPIs.
