ARCO Companies seeks a Director of Business Development to expand marine terminal and port building construction opportunities across the United States. You will lead client development, build trusted relationships with owners, port authorities, developers, and engineering firms, and guide complex pursuits from concept through award.

The role is remote with travel to client meetings, project sites, ports and industry events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; engineering/construction background preferred.
• 7+ years in business development within marine terminal, port infrastructure or related fields.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
• Strong knowledge of design/build, preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development.

Responsabilités

• Identify and maintain relationships with port authorities, terminal operators, developers, and engineers to generate opportunities.
• Build ARCO’s presence in targeted marine, port, waterfront, and industrial markets.
• Develop market strategy focused on geographies, clients, and long-term growth.
• Analyze economic and industry trends influencing marine and port activity.
• Monitor project pipelines and attend industry events to stay current with needs and competition.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape project strategies and prepare proposals.
• Travel to meet clients, project sites, and industry events as needed.
