US Coatings, LLC is seeking a Shipyard Assistant to provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to project management and field teams. You will assist with timekeeping, onboarding, and records, coordinate documents, and support shipping, inventory, and field operations.

The role requires organization, strong communication, and the ability to work in a POSITIVE team environment, with duties spanning office tasks and hands-on shop/yard assistance in a marine setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support to project management and field teams.
• Assist with timekeeping, onboarding, and personnel records.
• Coordinate records, reports, and project documentation.
• Prepare reports using MS Office and maintain organized files.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Support warehouse, shop, and yard operations and mobilization/demobilization activities.
• Operate forklifts only when trained and certified.
• Interact professionally with employees, customers, subcontractors, and shipyard personnel.
