• Minimum 3 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, purchasing, or related operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for marine, automotive, diesel, or similar systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure parts, supplies, and merchandise are available to support vessel operations and customer demand.
• Order, receive, stock, and maintain inventory using established purchasing procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor inventory trends and adjust stock levels to optimize availability while controlling costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Research and source replacement parts, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Oversee daily ship store operations, including merchandising, stocking, pricing, and organization.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve product offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory transactions, and sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Provide exceptional service to vessel crews, customers, and visitors.
• Assist customers in identifying the correct parts, supplies, and equipment for their needs.
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote products and support store sales initiatives.
