Hinckley Yachts in Essex, MD is seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to maintain high‑performance vessels and keep premium brands such as Yanmar, Volvo Penta, and Cummins running at peak.

You will diagnose with OEM software, perform repairs, install systems, and ensure safety standards while working with a knowledgeable team in a waterfront setting. This hands‑on role offers growth and a chance to contribute to the legacy of Hinckley.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of marine mechanic experience.
• ABYC certification preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to diagnose and repair marine systems.
• Repairs: Perform skilled diagnosis, maintenance, and overhauls as needed.
• Product lines: Work on Hamilton water jets, Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Cummins, Caterpillar, or FPT engines.
• Safety: Adhere to safety standards and guidelines.
• Other: Perform all duties as assigned.
