Job summary

Rio Marine, Inc. in Channelview, TX is seeking a Full Time Service Tech Level 2 (technician). This role requires a minimum of 2 years of electrical service experience, a valid TWIC, and a valid driver’s license.

You’ll troubleshoot circuits, work with motor starters, read one-line drawings and perform routine pump maintenance. You will supervise level 3 technicians, assist in project management, and travel occasionally to other locations, while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have good communications skills and professional conduct.
• Experience in electrical service and ability to read one-line drawings.
• TWIC and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits.
• Work with motor starters and start/stop controls.
• Use multimeter/amp meter/megger safely.
• Terminate common electrical equipment.
• Read one-line drawings for installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps.
• Supervise and train level 3 technicians.
• Assist in project management as assigned.
• Be on-call for a seven day period.
• Travel occasionally to other company locations.
• Follow Rio Marine safety and operational policies.
