Job summary

Rio Marine, Inc. in Channelview, TX is seeking a Full Time Service Tech Level 2 (technician). This role requires a minimum of 2 years of electrical service experience, a valid TWIC, and a valid driver’s license.

You’ll troubleshoot circuits, work with motor starters, read one-line drawings and perform routine pump maintenance. You will supervise level 3 technicians, assist in project management, and travel occasionally to other locations, while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits.

• Read one-line drawings for installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps.
• Supervise and train level 3 technicians.

• Be on-call for a seven day period.
• Travel occasionally to other company locations.
• Follow Rio Marine safety and operational policies.

Service Tech Level 2 (technician)

Expected experience minimum 2 years- Expected pay range is $22-$26

• 1.Troubleshooting basic electrical circuits
• 2.Motor starters and start/stops
• 3.Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger
• 4.Terminate most common types of electrical equipment
• 5.Read one line drawings
• 6.Perform routine maintenance and repairs to pumps

Qualifications:

   1. 1.Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances
   2. 2.Ability to work in any and all adverse weather conditions
   3. 3.Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height
   4. 4.Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time
   5. 5.Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner

   5. a.The company offers Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance. The company pays 100% of the monthly premium for a $25K life and $25K AD&D policy for each employee (with the option to buy additional insurance).
