Job summary

AMIT GPS & NAVIGATION LLP is seeking an Operations Coordinator with a strong background in marine systems and customer-facing roles to bridge technical teams and departments. You will assign tasks to technicians, monitor performance, and help develop procedures to boost efficiency.

You will also contribute to documentation, training programs, and research into new technologies to reduce costs and improve system reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as service advisor/coordinator is preferred.
• Strong understanding of marine systems, engines and boating equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, parts departments and team members to ensure seamless service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and information between technical teams and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to technicians, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Monitor and evaluate technician performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
• Develop and implement technical training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in operating new technologies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of technical specifications, system configurations, and user manuals to support system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
