Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Marine Coordinator to oversee marine activities, ensuring HSSE compliance and supporting the Marine Supervisor. The role requires staying current with safety systems, managing PTW processes, and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and surveys to ensure safe LNG loading and jetty operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine coordination on onshore/offshore installations or LNG carrier operations.
• Knowledge of 33 CFR 127, USCG Operations and Emergency Manual and Marine Operating Manual.
• Ability to supervise PTW systems and conduct on-site audits for compliance.
• Familiarity with berthing thresholds, jetty operations, and LNG loading activities.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to HSSE management system and Marine Operations Policies & Procedures.
• Monitor all marine activities, assist Marine Supervisor, and escalate safety issues.
• Maintain PIC status during loading and manage required documentation (NOR, manifests, certificates).
• Coordinate with surveyors and other departments to address product specification issues.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and company safety requirements for hot work, confined space, LOTO, JSA, and related safeguards.
