Job summary

PacMar Technologies LLC in Honolulu seeks a Marine Operations Manager to lead all marine operations for boats, amphibious and unmanned vehicles from our shipyard. You will plan field deployments, coordinate with engineers and technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a US citizen with a SECRET clearance (or ability to obtain one) and a Coast Guard Captain’s License, plus seven years of marine operations experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and 7 years of related experience (a Bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years).
  • U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License is required.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage a team.
  • Knowledge of marine equipment, systems, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations planning and field demonstrations with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to support field operations.
  • Ensure readiness for field operations and maintenance of marine platforms.
  • Develop and enforce marine safety programs and risk assessments.
  • Oversee training on operation and maintenance of marine platforms and vessels.
