Job summary

DESMI, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to expand our presence in the OEM and marine markets. You will identify opportunities, present technical solutions, and collaborate with engineering to tailor proposals that meet customer needs.

You will manage relationships, prepare quotations, and maintain CRM data while staying ahead of market trends. This role requires a proactive, self-driven professional with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marine/business fields.
• 3–5 years of technical or solution-based sales experience.
• Knowledge of pump systems, fluid handling, and marine applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify , qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with shipyards, vessel owners, and OEMs.
• Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and recommendations based on customer applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
• Manage and maintain customer relationships through consistent follow-up and support.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to guide sales initiatives.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer visits as a technical representative.
• Work closely with the AfterSales team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM data.
