Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Lockport or Mandeville, LA seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate and schedule engineering tasks across disciplines, maintain IMS, deadlines, and budgets for multiple vessel projects.

You will work with the Director of Project Engineering to integrate activities, support business development and estimating, and provide field engineering to sustain strong ties with the shipyard program management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of marine project design experience.
• Familiarity with USCG and IMO regulations and classification basics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule engineering tasks across disciplines.
• Develop and monitor deadlines, IMS, budgets, and technical activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field engineering support at the production shipyard when needed.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and internal teams.
