Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking a Project Engineer in Lockport, LA or Mandeville, LA to coordinate engineering across disciplines and manage IMS, schedules and budgets for marine projects.

You will work with the Director of Project Engineering, provide field engineering when needed, ensure compliance with USCG/IMO and ABS/LR/DNV etc., and support business development and estimating. Collaboration with production teams and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in design/development of marine projects.
• U.S. National is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule engineering tasks across disciplines.
• Initialize, organize, and monitor engineering projects.
• Develop and control deadlines, IMS, budgets, and technical activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specs, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field engineering support for timely resolution of engineering concerns at the shipyard.
• Work with the Director of Project Engineering to integrate project activities and products.
• Provide technical support to business development, estimating, and on-site teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the project to customers, PMO, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Outside Design Agents, and Regulators.
