Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Foreman for marine construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic, including Baltimore, MD. The role supervises crews, reads plans, and ensures work is performed to contract drawings and safety standards.

You will coordinate daily activities, train crew members, and monitor safety and production metrics on site. Ideal candidates bring experience supervising bridge and marine work, with strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction crews on bridge and marine projects.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Experience coordinating activities and training crew to meet contract specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans, ensuring all questions are answered before proceeding with activities.
• Directs and trains crew in work shown on contract drawings within production budgets.
• Acts as OSHA defined competent person on the job site.
• Plans sequence of activities in two‑week schedule planning with Superintendent and Project Engineer.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety procedures.
