The Outside Sales Representative – Marine will be the face of Meyer in the field, building relationships, calling on prospective customers, and visiting key accounts to promote our latest promotions and vendor literature.

This role requires travel within your territory, a high school diploma (associate preferred), a valid driver’s license, and prior marine/automotive parts sales experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Marine/auto parts knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Meyer with focus on customer satisfaction and professionalism.
• Travel within assigned territory for daily face-to-face interactions.
• Grow sales and market share in the territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
• Enter daily visit notes for all sales visits.
• Educate customers on product benefits and savings.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions to meet needs.
• Manage company equipment and travel-related items.
• Other duties as assigned.

Outside Sales Representative – Be the Face of Marine Sales with Meyer!

The Outside Sales Representative – Marine is responsible for all outside sales functions, including generating new business by calling on prospective customers, regularly visiting current and key accounts, and ensuring customers stay up to date on the latest promotions, products, and vendor literature.

Schedule and Pay:

Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Starting at $70,000.00 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Represents Meyer and its interests with the highest regard for customer satisfaction in a professional manner.
• Travel within assigned territory for daily face-to-face interaction with prospects and customers.
• Responsible for growth and development of sales and market share within assigned territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
• Enter/maintain daily visit notes for all sales visits.
• Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
• Identify customer buying patterns (top sellers) and implement plan to increase sales or offer alternatives as needed.
• Sell the company's products/services to customers through product knowledge, manufacturer literature, promotions, customer events, etc.
• Monitor the company's competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand specific customer needs.
• Responsible for company car, credit card, laptop, gas cards and any other company provided equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in business or related field preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license with no recent moving or driving violations, remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
• Previous marine, automotive parts knowledge and sales experience preferred.
