Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction in Washougal, WA is seeking an Office Engineer to support marine and heavy civil projects from pursuit through execution. You will assist with scheduling, estimating, document control, and coordination with project teams and field crews.

The ideal candidate brings 1 year of related experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The role operates in a fast-paced construction environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or a related field required.
• Preferred one (1) year of experience supporting heavy civil, marine, or industrial projects in a Field Engineer or similar role.
• Experience in field operations, project planning, estimating, scheduling, document control, procurement, or project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules in P6.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and drafting to support planning and field ops.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for planning, procurement, and budgeting.
• Coordinate project budgets, procurement, and document control.
• Support QC processes and field operations including travel as needed.
