Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction LLC is seeking an Office Engineer to support marine and heavy civil projects. This role partners with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to plan, schedule, estimate, and control documents to keep projects on time and on budget.

Ideal candidate has a bachelor's in CM/CE, civil engineering, or related field and hands-on experience with scheduling tools (P6, MS Project) and drawing interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or related field.
• Experience in field operations, project planning, estimating, scheduling, document control, procurement or project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules in P6.
• Analyze drawings, specs, survey data, and contract documents to support pre-construction planning.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and engineering calculations for planning, procurement, and budgeting.
• Provide engineering support from pursuit through execution and develop QC plans with project teams.
• Travel to project sites as needed to support field operations and coordination.
