THOR Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a mid-level Marine Mechanical Engineer (Auxiliary) to support the USCG Ship Design Team in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on design, optimization, and integration of marine auxiliary and piping systems, ship machinery, and related calculations and analyses.

The position is full-time onsite at SFLC in Baltimore, with up to 10% travel. Eligible for SECRET security clearance; US citizens only. Competitive benefits and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive Marine Mechanical experience with auxiliary systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and documentation for operation of marine vessels and ship machinery, including auxiliary systems, hydraulics, piping, and HVAC.
• Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
• Conduct analysis and design of auxiliary systems and lead data package reviews.
• Conduct trade studies.
