Job summary

MacGregor seeks a Service Technician with hydraulic competence to repair, maintain and service shipboard equipment, including cranes, winches, hatch covers, steering gears and RoRo gear. The role involves travel to client sites worldwide and will be based in our Seattle office.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a multicultural team environment. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Background in hydraulic troubleshooting and equipment repair preferred.
• Experience with shipboard cranes, winches, hatch covers or RoRo equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic maintenance and repairs on marine equipment.
• Diagnose breakdowns and perform on-site repairs at client locations.
• Document service reports, time sheets and travel expenses accurately.
• Adhere to MacGregor safety and quality standards.
