MacGregor is seeking a Service Engineer with a strong hydraulic and electric background to repair, maintain and service major marine equipment. The role covers offshore work and shipyard/port visits worldwide, based from our Houston area office.
You will diagnose hydraulic/electrical systems, perform refurbishments, and identify service opportunities while ensuring quality, safety and IMS/QHSE compliance. Fluent English and travel readiness are required.

We are seeking a hands‑on expert to perform repair, maintenance and service on critical marine equipment. This includes MacGregor’s and third-party equipment as shipboard cranes, ship machinery and winches. Your main discipline is hydraulic and electric, basic understanding of mechanical systems is a plus but not required. Your commitment to quality and safety will be crucial in ensuring our customers' vessels operate smoothly and that we meet our service objectives.
You will work both offshore as well as at local shipyards and ports world wide. Services are expected to maintain flexible working hours in response to demand.
Reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Houston, Texas.
You have a background in the offshore or maritime industry, with a primary focus on hydraulic, mechanical and electric equipment.

Salary ranges from $80 000 - $100 000 per year based on skills and experience. Plus overtime.
