Job summary

Orion Marine Group seeks a Safety Supervisor to oversee HS&E programs for marine dredging operations. You will lead safety policy implementation, audits, and incident investigations at multiple project sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in marine safety, a relevant degree (preferred), and BCSP certification where possible. Expect collaboration with risk management and operations teams to promote safety, quality, delivery, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years safety and health experience in marine construction.
• B.S. or A.A.S. degree in Occupational or Industrial Safety preferred.
• BCSP safety credential (SMS, CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, STS-C, Etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field safety programs and policies to ensure a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and implement Capture Plans and Accident & Incident Prevention Programs.
• Establish short-term and long-term goals for HS&E programs with safety leadership.
• Stay current on federal/state/local regulations affecting safety, health and environmental issues.
