Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a proactive HSE Leader to oversee field safety across facilities and support the Mid-Atlantic Safety Director in implementing and managing the HSE program. You will lead safety training, conduct audits, and coordinate corrective actions with operations teams in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role requires 3–5 years in maritime or related settings, a 4-year degree in safety/engineering, OSHA credentials preferred, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred; Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering
• OSHA certifications preferred
• Obtain and maintain TWIC credentials within 90 days of hire
• Valid/unexpired driver's license
• Proficient in MS Office applications, ability to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety Policy and OSHA compliance daily.
• Lead safety training, meetings and toolbox talks.
• Inspect sites for OSHA compliance and safety processes.
• Coordinate audits and corrective actions with management.
• Investigate accidents and incidents with proper reporting and documentation.
• Travel as needed; maintain reliable transportation.
