Job summary

Swingtech is seeking a Marine HM&E Logistics and Supply Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard SBPL in Baltimore, MD. This role covers maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation of HM&E systems aboard small boats under 65 feet.

Candidates bring 5+ years in marine HM&E, knowledge of MILSPEC/IEEE/NEC/ANSI, and familiarity with NESSS and related CG systems. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of marine field experience with HM&E systems.
• Familiarity with MILSPEC, IEEE, NEC, and ANSI standards.
• Understanding of Government/CG acquisition processes (FAR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with USCG/DOD IT systems (NESSS, FLS, NE-TIMS, FED LOG, WebFLIS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and modify documentation related to purchase/repair descriptions, SBPL requirements, and change requests.
• Research lead times, stock levels, and sources of supply; verify part compatibility.
• Coordinate inspections and disposition of Frustrated Items and supplier discrepancies.
• Assist market research for spare parts and performance of cost/price analyses.
• Track and update SDRs, QDRs, and Mandatory Turn-In items.
