Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience in a shipyard.
• 1-2 years of marine electrical experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Travel to field locations required; transportation paid.
• Ability to work a 50-hour work week, M-F, with overtime.
• Must be able to work 7 days/week as needed.
• Ability to read hydraulic diagrams and systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and mechanical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and implement repairs.
• Identify and perform mechanical repairs aboard dredges and marine vessels.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and mechanical gear.
• Read diagrams, schematics, and manuals for diagnostics.
• Set up equipment and assist users of equipment.
• Follow safety policies and maintain an Incident and Injury Free environment.
• Estimate sizes, costs, and materials for activities.
• Inspect work and ensure contract compliance.
