Job summary

Hydrasearch, a U.S. manufacturer of fluid-transfer and control systems for maritime, aerospace, and defense, is seeking an assembler in Stevensville, MD. You will build hoses, valves, fittings, and couplings, following SOPs and work instructions in a collaborative shop.

This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication. The position offers weekday hours, pay between $17 and $20 per hour, and benefits including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic math.
• Experience reading blueprints is a major plus.
• Strong communication skills and willing to learn.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal instruction.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Fast-paced, collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product lines (hoses, valves, and couplings) following SOPs and work instructions.
• Safely operate power tools and machinery (drills, grinders, presses).
• Grind hardware and use bead blast equipment; mark parts per spec.
• Transport materials and finished goods around the facility.
• Complete job paperwork accurately in the computer system.
• Participate in ongoing on-the-job training for cross-training.
