Job description

Price Engineering, a SunSource company, specializes in engineered custom products and solutions through engineering resource management, research, planning, and development in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electrical systems.

The Mechanical Assembler’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembly of hydraulic manifolds, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps, setting hydraulic valves, flushing hydraulic reservoirs, and testing assembled items. Other duties may be assigned based on workload and the candidate’s abilities.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards

• Assembly of hydraulic tanks and manifolds
• Testing of assembled hydraulic tanks and manifolds
• Assembly of various fluid power components, electrical components, and mechanical components
• Use of hand and power tools
• Forklift operation
• Operation of hydraulic test equipment
• Other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned by management

Work Environment

Climate controlled shop environment.

Requirements

Education: High School Degree, GED, or equivalent. Ongoing willingness to continue educational learning/training.

Licenses/Certificates: None.
