Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years' experience in procurement / supply chain of technical materials, equipment and services, with preference for experience in oil and gas, marine industry, or business.
• Associates degree preferred, in a field related to supply chain management, engineering, or business.
• Negotiation and contract negotiating skills, with a proven track record of cost savings. Organization and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing procurement support for priority C & D REQs of Helix's fleet of vessels, project or corporate requirement as assigned
• Purchase order placement and follow-up
• Identify and address invoice issuesSourcing and negotiating material, equipment and services to support projects and/or marine operations, as assigned
• Support supply chain process implementation and improvement
• Monitor supplier performance and support relationship management
• Identify and communicate opportunities for cost savings
