Job summary

Excelerate Energy, Inc. in Houston, Texas, seeks a seasoned Senior Supply Chain Management leader to steer regional activities across fleet procurement, project sourcing, and logistics for the Americas.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Legal to align with global SCM objectives. The role requires 15+ years of leadership in SCM, with offshore project and vessel operations experience, and strong ERP/P2P knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, APICS, ISM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive Supply Chain Management experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary supply chain functions beyond procurement.
• Extensive experience supporting fleet vessel operations, dry dock programs, offshore projects, or major maintenance initiatives.
• Strong experience with ERP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and P2P controls.
• Knowledge of procurement governance, internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior SCM representative for the Americas region and provide strategic direction.
• Act as Houston-based SCM interface for Operations, Engineering, Projects, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
• Independently manage regional supply chain issues, escalations, and stakeholder concerns.
• Lead procurement strategies delivering value, reliability, and compliance.
• Oversee logistics, international freight, customs clearance, and import/export compliance.
• Drive supplier performance management and contract administration.
