Ballard Marine Construction in Maryland seeks an Office Engineer to support marine and heavy civil projects. You will partner with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to plan, schedule, estimate, and coordinate procurement, document control, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication, problem solving, and a commitment to Ballard's safety and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 1 year or more of experience supporting heavy civil, marine, or industrial projects in a Field Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Experience supporting field operations, project planning, estimating, scheduling, document control, procurement, or project coordination preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules in P6.
• Support pre-construction planning and coordination.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and temporary works designs.
• Coordinate procurement activities, material tracking, and subcontract administration.
• Contribute to QC processes and safety program adherence.
• Collaborate with project teams, field crews, vendors, and clients.
