The role focuses on arranging transportation, developing delivery schedules, and ensuring timely communication with key stakeholders across multiple teams. The position requires 2+ years in scheduling within commodity industries, a business-related degree, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Two years’ scheduling experience in commodity industries (crude, fuel oil, refined products preferred).
• Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, economics or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with trade capture, scheduling, finance, and risk management systems.
• Specialized knowledge of various scheduling processes and commodity trade positioning.
• Strong analytical, quantitative skills and accounting acumen.
• In-depth understanding of waterborne and pipeline operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Arrange all transportation requirements for trading activity.
• Develop comprehensive delivery schedule and communicate daily to stakeholders.
• Review and improve processes to optimize the company portfolio.
• Anticipate patterns and consider wider implications of problems.
• Work autonomously within established procedures while adding value.
