Regal Marine Industries, Inc. seeks an Automation & Integration Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation systems within our FRP boat manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate across design, engineering, and production teams to drive efficiency, quality, safety, and performance through reliable automation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in ECE/Mechatronics/Automation, hands-on automation development, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing automation systems, preferably in marine or automotive sectors.
  • Proficiency with programming languages for industry applications.
  • Familiarity with automation and control system standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • CAD proficiency with Rhino and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and Wi‑Fi devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation and control systems for FRP boat manufacturing.
  • Develop software for automation controllers and hardware interfaces.
  • Test, validate, and optimize automated systems for reliability and safety.
  • Create documentation and train internal teams on operation and maintenance.
  • Stay current with automation trends in the marine industry and identify improvements.
