Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, through its Raymarine unit, seeks an Application & Systems Integration Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support digital switching and vessel automation solutions for OEM boat builders across the Americas.

You will bridge customers with Sales, PM, Engineering, and Support, troubleshoot complex issues, and travel to support engagements. Hudson, NH or Jupiter, FL base, 25% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with software development, systems integration, technical support or related disciplines.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar.
• Knowledge of networking incl. TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with NMEA 2000, CAN-based systems, digital switching, vessel automation.
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated digital switching and vessel control solutions for OEM customers.
• Support OEM partners through design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
• Develop software tools, scripts and integration solutions for Raymarine digital switching products.
• Create system architecture, wiring diagrams, network layouts and technical documentation.
• Provide technical consultation for NMEA 2000 networks, Ethernet marine networks and vessel automation systems.
• Travel up to ~25% annually for customer engagements and sea trials.
