Qualifications

5+ years of marine electrical experience.
Expert knowledge of marine DC and AC electrical systems.
Experience with marine electronics, power distribution and digital switching.
Strong understanding of NMEA 2000, CAN bus and Ethernet networks.
Advanced troubleshooting across electrical and networking domains.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and technical docs.
Proven mentoring and technical leadership.
Commitment to safety, quality and craftsmanship.
Proficient in conversational English.

Responsibilities

Serve as Regal's subject matter expert for marine electrical systems across production.
Lead diagnostics, root-cause analysis and corrective actions for complex issues.
Perform system testing, commissioning, calibration and validation of DC/AC and networks.
Verify installation of batteries, shore power, inverters, panels, and digital switching.
Troubleshoot CAN bus, NMEA 2000, Ethernet and marine networks.
Support Garmin electronics integration and digital switching systems.
Review wiring schematics and layouts for manufacturability and serviceability.
Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design-related electrical issues.
Work with suppliers to investigate performance concerns.
Mentor technicians and promote best practices and quality standards.
Develop and improve testing procedures, checks and diagnostics.
Maintain calibration and use of testing equipment and tools.
Support prototypes, sea trials, product launches and field investigations.
Drive continuous improvement for electrical system reliability and customer experience.
Ensure compliance with ABYC, NMMA, USCG and safety standards.
