Journey’s End Marina in Rockland, ME, is seeking an experienced Service Manager for a full-time, year-round position. The successful candidate will be organized, have service management and people skills, and understand marine systems.

Marine experience and knowledge of small boat handling are essential. You will manage daily and seasonal workloads, provide clients with updates, work with ownership on safety practices, seek storage opportunities, and maintain strong communication to minimize

• Marine industry and boating experience is essential.
• Understanding of small boat handling and marine systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with supervisors to help manage and triage daily and seasonal workloads.
• Provide clients with job updates, and scope of work challenges.
• Work with ownership to devise best practices for safety.
• Securing seasonal storage opportunities and prospective winter work.
• Mitigate loss of production and complications through extensive client communications.
• Work well as part of a close-knit team.
