Job summary

Chesapeake Yacht Club, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities & Marina Operations Manager to lead daily operations of the club’s marina basin, grounds, and facilities.

You will supervise waterfront dockmaster duties, perform basic mechanical upkeep, and coordinate pool prep and event setups. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety focus, and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks and seasonal staff across a range of club amenities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or marina/yacht club operations.
• Strong customer-facing interpersonal skills and ability to manage priorities autonomously.
• Experience directing seasonal staff and coordinating with outside service vendors.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record; boating-related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee marina basin operations, docks, wake safety, and dock safety lighting.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC upkeep and coordinate with contractors for major repairs.
• Direct grounds maintenance, pool setup, and event staging for club activities.
• Review and schedule staffing using BEOs and master calendars; ensure venues are cleaned and reset after events.
