Job summary

TPG Marinas seeks a strategic Director of Finance to oversee the financial activities of all marinas in the portfolio. The role collaborates with senior leaders to achieve company and property goals, directly supervising marina controllers, accounting managers, and AP functions.

The position provides guidance to accounting staff on finance, asset protection, and regulatory compliance, and works with investors and executives to deliver timely financial responses and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-property finance organization in hospitality or marina sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to supervise accounting teams and drive process improvements.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting and capital expenditures.
• Excellent communication with executives, asset managers and investors.
• Ability to analyze operations and identify profitability opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership to marina operations and oversee budgeting and controls.
• Direct the marina finance team including controllers, managers and AP.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Partner with asset managers, legal and HR to align with corporate goals.
• Drive profitability through cost control and investment analysis.
• Ensure policies, internal controls and brand standards are followed.
