Job summary

Welo Data is seeking sharp, curious, and detail‑oriented individuals to join our team as Data Labeling Associate. This 100% onsite role involves evaluating AI outputs, identifying gaps, and guiding improvements in data quality and model evaluation.

Marathi speakers with strong English and a university degree are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) as a W2 employee, with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Marathi and a university degree.
• English level B2 or higher.
• 1–2 years of professional writing experience with strong, structured writing skills.
• Ability to apply complex writing rules and guidelines consistently.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in GenAI safety and data delivery.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Curiosity about AI, technology, and how systems behave.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
