Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking a Data Labeling Associate (Marathi Speakers) for onsite work in the U.S. You will evaluate AI outputs, provide structured feedback, and audit data and model behavior to improve real-world performance.

40 hours/week, W2 full-time; must be located in the U.S. and able to commute to the specified cities; rate of $34/hour. Ideal candidates have Marathi fluency, a university degree, strong writing skills, and the ability to apply complex guidelines consistently, with 2+

Qualifications

• Native-level Marathi proficiency and a university degree.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• 1–2 years writing experience with structured writing.
• Ability to apply writing guidelines consistently.
• 2+ years in safety considerations in GenAI data delivery.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Curious about AI and how systems behave.
• Speak up and contribute ideas when needed.
• Experience in data quality/QA/annotation helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns and edge cases.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
